Wind Bar
Project overview
Type: Spatial Design
Service: Design Management, Design Review
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Aheloy, Bulgaria
Objective
To address the challenges faced by a beach bar suffering from noise disturbances caused by late-night patrons and strong winds that made the space unsuitable for evening use.
Approach
Comprehensive research identified two primary issues: noise disruption and wind interference. Our solution involved reimagining the space to create a versatile environment suitable for concerts, relaxation, and social gatherings. The design ensured daytime shade and a wind-protected atmosphere at night.
Result
The implementation of a multifunctional tensile structure with integrated glass wall systems provided both aesthetic harmony with the existing architecture and practical climate control. The project successfully enhanced the venue’s usability, creating a welcoming space that supports season-round enjoyment.
