Seagull Apartment
Project overview
Type: Interior Architecture
Service: Design Management
Duration: 2 Months
Location: Varna, Bulgaria
Objective
To create an interior architecture that reflects the client’s personality while accommodating their existing furniture in a new apartment.
Approach
The project began with a careful adaptation of the floor plan to meet the client’s specific needs. We customized the kitchen layout to align with the existing plumbing and ventilation systems. A key design decision was to incorporate two small undercounter fridges instead of a standard-sized unit. This choice allowed for a low, discreet furniture line that complemented the pitched roof in the living area. Additionally, we focused on creating a sense of proportion and cohesion throughout the entrance and other rooms.
Result
The thoughtful design and strategic adjustments resulted in a 140% increase in the property’s value post-reconstruction, demonstrating the effectiveness of a personalized and well-planned interior architecture.
