Founder’s Story
Volen Dimitrov, the founder and director of Studiovolen, is an architect with over 10 years of international experience across Bulgaria, Italy, Finland, and the USA. He’s strategy focuses on addressing true human needs and embedding them into environments, experiences, and objects that impact our everyday lives.
Team and Studio Space
Our team is internationally collaborative, with expertise in architecture, interior design, product design, creative direction, strategy, and project management. Between us, we speak various languages and share lunches, desserts, and spritz.
Studiovolen has its own workplace in the Sea Gardens of Varna, Bulgaria, and a workshop on the island of Kemiö, Finland. Both atmospheric spaces face the sea, bringing the team together to foster a working culture built around shared values in daily life.
